Seminar Questions

Question: What if I miss the live seminars and booths on the two designated live days of October 24 and November 7?

Answer: No problem! You can return to the virtual event anytime. Just “click” on the Seminar Gallery or Video Gallery and choose any of the expert seminars and videos to watch and listen to “on-demand.” There are also videos linked to many sponsors and exhibitor booths where you can download information, special offers, enter to win prizes, etc.

Question: If I want to ask the expert speakers questions during the designated live seminars, how do I do that?

Answer: There will be a simple “chat” box visible during the speaker presentation to click and ask questions during their seminar. Many of the Live seminars will feature a 20-25 minute “Zoom” Q&A at the end of the seminar. To utilize the zoom capabilities, download the zoom application to your device in advance.

Question: How long are the seminars?

Answer: On-demand seminars are no more than 30 minutes. Many of the Live Seminars include an interactive Q&A session, which is an additional 15-20 minutes.

Question: What is the format of the seminars?

Answer: For each seminar, there will be one of our expert speakers with their PowerPoint presentations. The seminars are pre-recorded and on-demand except for the live interactive days. On those days, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A with many speakers.

Sponsors and Exhibitors

Question: Will there be an area to connect with exhibitors to find products and resources?

Answer: Yes, there will be two virtual exhibit halls. One hall is the Successful Aging Expo. They are showcasing products, services, and resources for people who want to live their lives to the fullest. The other exhibit hall is the CaregiverSD for family and professional caregivers to gather essential resources and services. Click on the Exhibit Hall button in the event navigation to view the showcase of exhibitors.

Question: What does a virtual exhibit booth look like?

Answer: In the virtual exhibit hall, an exhibiting company will have an interactive 3-D space that allows direct one-on-one connection with attendees that enter their booth. The exhibitor may have a short company video, giveaways, and answer any questions through a chat.

Question: Will there be opportunities to receive giveaways and win prizes?

Answer: Absolutely! Everyone loves to see their name in lights and be a winner. So, we have Passport to Prizes, a game to engage all attendees by collecting points for activities you complete during the event. Activities include visiting exhibitors, viewing a seminar, and many other fun ways to win an IPad, Amazon Dot, gift cards, and many other prizes.
